Despite an "eleventh hour" change of venue, this event at the Hallmark Hotel was a great success. The room setting and table decorations gave a very special feel to the occasion which was attended by more than 150 of our family, friends and supporters. A huge amount of preparatory work was done in terms of planning, including obtaining sponsors for the races and individual horses, obtaining raffle and auction prizes and the event worked like clockwork on the evening. This really was a brilliant night and with the added benefit of some matched funding raised more than £7,000 for the Charity. By popular demand, the event will be repeated in November 2012 !!
Well done all of you - we couldn't have managed without you.

In order to raise local awareness of the charity, we had a great response to our request for runners and joggers to take part in the 2011 Hull 10k. Everyone gathered for a 'before' photo in Queen Victoria Square and it was brilliant to see the group of 22. Everyone really enjoyed the experience and some excellent times were recorded with many promises to take part in 2012. This event generated an amazing £2,700 in sponsorship. Well done to all who took part or supported the runners.
