October 2025 - Video Horse Race Evening. A fun filled evening was enjoyed by our 150 guests who eagerly joined in by placing their bets in each of the 9 thrilling races. Also included in the event was a tasty supper and a fantastic raffle and auction. This popular fundraiser generated a brilliant £6,411.02 for nsif.
September 2025 - Great North Run. What a proud day this was for the runners and their family and friends alike. Team nsif included Tom Coatham, Ryan Gay, Mark Pembroke, Bobby Pye and Hannah Davies who all donned their running shoes and attacked the 13 mile course with enthusiasm. The day was a huge success and collectively the runners raised a staggering £4595.00. Huge thanks to you all for this tremendous effort.

December 2024 - Donation by Ladygate Interiors, Beverley. Following our purchase of a chair from this excellent local supplier of furniture, an agreed price discount was made as a donation to nsif in the sum of £50!

November 2024 - Donation Joan Burnham £50. Joan is a regular donor to the charity and is a good friend of our family. We are very thankful for her continued support.
October 2024 - Yorkshire 10 mile. Sarah Mook braved some terrible weather to complete a 10 mile run on behalf of nsif and we are really grateful that she was able to raise sponsorship of £475.
September & October 2024 - Great North Run and York Marathon. Georgia Stockhill had a very challenging few weeks, taking part in the GNR half marathon followed by a full marathon centred around York. Her tremendous efforts raised a fantastic sum of £310 for nsif.
September 2024 - Great North Run. Alex Platt bravely took on the challenge of completing the Great North Run for the benefit of nsif. Alex did a supberb job and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He also raised a fantastic £790.00 for nsif! Thank you Alex!

2023 - What a year for nsif Hull and ER! We were extremely fortunate to have been nominated by the Blade Factory workforce at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as their charity to support throughout the year. Many events took place throughout the year organised by Samantha Roberts raising an outstanding total of £15,924.91

14 - 17 Septeber 2023 - B2B4 The Fourth epic 'Bridge to Bridge Cycle Challenge' took place starting from the Menai Bridge in Anglesey and finishing at the Humber Bridge in Hull a total of 248 gruelling miles!! Thanks go to Ronnie Fletcher, Grant Stables, Bobby Pye, Mark Hague, Richard Hardy, Andrew Cooney, Mike Beckett and John Pye who collectively raised a fantastic sum of £6510,46. Great effort!

We were delighted to be selected by Waitrose as one of their three nominated charities for April 2019.
